Hebrews 12:28-29 “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
November has four significant special days. Actually, each and every day is important to be thankful and honor our God in reverence and awe. The first of November is Reformation Day. This refers to the start of the protestant faith; which gave the people the “Saved by Grace” Martin Luther found in God’s Holy Word. The next is Veterans Day. We’re all aware of how much freedom costs so thank the Lord God for His protection; it is His to give and we are the blessed ones for it. The third is Thanksgiving Day. We need to continue to be thankful people to the Lord. Thankfulness should become an attitude from our hearts in everything. God has blessed us! The forth is the beginning of Advent. It starts our Christmas season. In today’s world, it’s hard to put the real reason for this special time of year in it important place for our heart, mind, and soul. So much more could be written on each of these special days. But to put each into the Bible verses of Hebrews 12:28,29 will set us into a right spirit to honor the giver of these blessings.
